If there’s one thing I’ve always loved, it’s research. From my first research paper on taxidermy in seventh grade to researching Fine Arts Press Books, I’ve spent a lot of time traveling down rabbit holes and seeing where I’d land. Researching 1601 has been a lesson in frustration and joy. Whether I was banging my head against the wall because I couldn’t figure out what a symbol meant, or spending two hours in the archives trying to get the perfect picture, I’ve learned a lot from this experience.
